Dr. Frank B. Minirth is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology,
and a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Medicine. Holding doctorate degrees in
medicine and theology, he has been in private practice in the Dallas area since 1975. He is a
professor of neuropharmacology at the Colorado School of Professional Psychology and an
adjunct professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is currently only one of 122 doctors in
America and Canada who have passed the rigorous test to be certified by the prestigious
American Society of Clinic Psychopharmacology.
Dr. Minirth is president of the Minirth Clinic, P.A., in Richardson, Texas; he is a
consultant for the program at University Behavioral Health Hospital of Denton, Texas, and the
Minirth Christian Program at Big Creek Ranch in Arkansas. He is heard weekly both locally and
nationally on radio.
Dr. Minirth has authored or coauthored more than seventy books, many of which have
been translated into foreign languages. Best-sellers include Love Hunger, Love Is a Choice, and
100 Ways to Overcome Depression. He has more than four million books in print, and
has written on such diverse subjects as The Biochemistry of Depression, An Exegesis of Bible Verses
on Grace and Happiness Is a Choice.
He and his wife of thirty-seven years, Mary Alice, have five daughters.
